Glasgow, Scotland is a city rich in culture as described in my previous article featuring the top rated attractions when planning your trip.

Today I wish to focus on perhaps the most influential and important museum in the world for those art lovers!  A trip to the Kelvingrove should remain top on your list along with the British Museum & the Louvre (Paris).  To be honest, I had not realized the wealth of collections ranging from the Impressionists to the famed Glasgow Boys who revolutionized Scottish painting – similar to the Pre-Raphaelites from the United Kingdom.

A handsome border collie in the UK told Susie about another great place in the countryside of Worchestershire where both humans and canines can unwind and relax their frazzled nerves from the hectic life of modern times. Take a step back in time by spending some slow time in Long Cover Cottage in rural England.

Our world would be a hugely different place today but for the discovery of sailing and the subsequent role played by the development of galleons, schooners and the tall ships of the day.

Susie is ready to pack up and head to Scotland after being told about a fabulous property in Crail right on the Scottish coast northeast of Edinburgh. Just picture staying for a week in an immaculate fisherman’s cottage perched directly above Crail harbor.

I have always loved glamour, luxury and castles. I am a true romantic and do believe that all of us, if just once in our life should stay and dine at a castle. Even if you could just dine here that would make me happy for you! You can tell by the photos that this is a must while in Scotland.
