Cindy Pawleyn is so brilliant in the culinary world. She is chef-owner of this sophisticated and centrally located restaurant in the wine country. The parking lot is always full, no matter when you drive down the highway. There is a nice garden with tables as you walk up in case you have to wait to get in. When you enter the front door, there is a small bar. It is truly a hot spot and the place to be seen. You will get such excellence of food that will go directly to your soul.
Cindy has so many positive and wonderful memories of her roots in Minneapolis. She started to cater at 13! Her family is truly a culinary one. As I was growing up in Northern California and having such passion for food myself, I have followed Cindy's success. It is a treasure that Cindy ended up in California years ago. My family went to the 2014 Napa Wine Festival and one evening we walked through St. Helena and stepped into Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen., another one of her restaurants. We had a glorious time in the garden with the beautiful fire sparkling and the fountain dripping in a musical sound. I must dine here soon!
