I love love love the Hamptons! On the very tip is beautiful Montauk. There is so much to enjoy here and miles and miles of unspoiled ocean beach. Perched way up on the hills is the wonderful Gurneys Inn Spa. There are five national parks nearby, hiking, fishing, kayaking, surfing and I love the art shows. I am sure you will also spot whales and dolphins out in the ocean too.
Here are a few restaurant favorites all of you boomers would love too:

This is one of Montauk local’s favorite restaurants. It overlooks beach front, Fort Bond Bay which was once occupied by the US Navy.
What is exciting here is that you can sit directly on the sand on picnic tables, looking out to the breathtaking water everywhere.
This treasure has a nautical feel, is very laid back and a perfect place to bring grandkids.

Great prices here and have boat slips!
This is a hideaway overlooking the bay. The owners Greg and Diane are always visible, which I always find so refreshing. If you need to just smell the fresh air and relax, this is the perfect place to go. There is outdoor seating and live entertainment on the weekends. They use all fresh farm produce here.
Blondee Picks:
Must try Finger Lakes wines
Fried shrimp basket, Manhattan clam chowder, sea salt potato chips,
Strawberry pecan salad, grilled New York Reuben and day boat scallops
Dessert is chocolate bread pudding.
