Everyone should visit The Berkshires at least one time in their life. I have visited over 50 times and also had the luxury of living there. The historic downtown of Lenox is a beautiful start to experience the richness of the Berkshires. Tanglewood is very close by and that is a perfect place to enjoy the musical magic here.
Bistro Zinc is the place to go if your palate is a sophisticated one. Zinc opened in 1999 by Charlie Schulze and “J” Macioge. When I walked into Zinc weeks ago, I felt like home. I always have a few “Blondee Moments” here when I stop to gaze at the fabulous floral arrangements done by Judith Gordon. The powder room even has the stunning flowers. They have pewter squares adorning the ceiling and lit posts surrounding the large mirrors and paned windows.
Katie was our waitress and she was very attentive and friendly. It was on a Monday so it was a little quiet....it is usually buzzing all throughout this gem. This is the place to be seen in The Berkshires. Ryan McIntyre is the executive chef and always creates fun specials. The menu is small but has a great variety of choices.
