$0.00

Quick Overview

Beau wants to let everyone know that he is working hard to get ready for full participation in the Pet Patrol. He has already been in training with his daddy and big sis Susie. The little dickens has already mastered “Sit” and “Down,” and has had a perfect score the past 10 days on going potty in his potty box filled with horse bedding material. He also is learning “No,” “Off,” and “Leave it.” The little smarty even understands “get all the way in your box” when he tries to do a lazy two paws in and two out when he pees.

At the posting of this article he is now 11 weeks old. Despite the horrible weather he has been outside some and actually loves the snow like his big sister Susie. He loves to be out with Susie and has watched her take care of business outside and even managed to do his little poo dance there too.

Beau will start school on March 17 with a puppy class taught by Linda Laun (Happy Tails) who is a friend and member of the WAGS therapy group that Susie belongs to.

Beau gives Susie a run for her money several times a day. He also thought he would help her out with her dislike of daddy’s surround sound system. He decided to reduce the noise level by chewing through one of the back speaker wires although daddy didn’t appreciate his methodology. However, daddy raised the white flag and put the speaker up until he is through the teething stage.

Beau is also a dog of letters (and papers), in particular tissues and other loose bits of paper that he finds around the house. The photo illustrates one example of his work and profound insight. The pictured paper was the last page of an order to chewy.com (Delivering Pet Happiness) which mommy found chewed up by Beau. He took them at their word.  In circumstances like these he morphs from “Good boy” to “Varmint.”

P.S. At this posting Beau transformed into "Varmint with a capital V" and daddy spent 20 minutes chasing him around the back yard to get him to come in. Obviously the "come" command is the next order of business for our little patrol member. This was extra fun because the yard still has melting snow and ice and lots of muddy spots. Mommy finally helped daddy round up the little dickens to get him back in the house and toweled off by Mr.Towel.
