One of Susie’s many good friends, in this case a human one, told her about a marvelous camp for dogs and their significant others in the beautiful setting of Vermont. Susie’s ears perked up immediately with the familiar “let’s go” look on her face. She made it clear to her daddy that he should check in to this.
The camp has two locations: in Marlboro, VT in the southern portion of the state from June 2-8, 2013 and then two separate camp weeks from September 1-7 and September 8-14, 2013 in Stowe, VT in the northern portion of the state.
If you are among those who hate to vacation without their canine companion, this is a great opportunity to spend a week with your dog and both enjoy the beauty of Vermont. The camps offer a wide range of activities and training classes, or you and your companion can just spend time relaxing and romping in the green fields of the camp with the backdrop of the distant mountains on the horizon.
Lodging and all meals are provided – and the big bonus – your dog(s) sleep with you! Even veterinarians are available at both camps around the clock.
The kind folks who run the camp have even given us permission to use a sample of the photos from the previous camps, and to top it off have indicated they have an opening in the June camp and would like Susie to come – she and her daddy will be there with bells on!
