With the chill hitting the air and the thoughts of last year’s cold winter, Susie is directing her thoughts to a trip to south Florida for warmth, sun and sand. One property that is in one of the lists of top pet-friendly locations is located just north of Miami in Lauderdale by the Sea and provides access to a good portion of south Florida and a stay on the Atlantic coast.
With plenty to see and do the Beachside provides a great place for either a brief or long visit. Stay for a week or more and bask in the south Florida sun. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. You can see the area, relax on the beach or just simply curl up with a good book and your best friend.
The hotel welcomes pets weighing 35 pounds or less and there is a fee of $25 per night for pets. Of course they state that the hotel is “Pet friendly to friendly pets.” Aggressive dogs or dogs that bark excessively will not work here. Also dogs are not allowed by the pool, obviously for sanitation reasons. They also require a $250 damage deposit which will be refunded upon checkout.
They also provide a dog walking service for guests who need it.
The hotel provides two acres of rooms and facilities including two heated pools and a rooftop deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms include studios and 1 and 2 bedrooms. Discounts are offered for extended stays too.
