This product was brought to my attention by a lovely email I received from Kirstin Robison. I was so excited to try these and truly thought all boomers should know about these! There have been so many times I have wondered why no one had ever created a straw for hot beverages. Here it was right before my eyes!
This should be in every coffee house in the country. There are many uses for these as Dawn Miracles, the founder must already know. Dawn was a clinical researcher with Parkinson's patients. I had a dear friend with this disease so this is dear to my heart strings as well. Dawn realized that her patients could not drink hot liquids due to hand tremors. She knew she needed a straw that could take the heat and also make sure there were no spills. So that is when the hot straw was born!
There have been so many times through the years when I would walk in to get a coffee to go and I wanted a straw in my to go cup. In fact I have tried to use a regular straw and it did not taste right. So now I keep these in my purse. The straw was designed well; it keeps the coffee from staining your teeth while being able to sip your coffee.
