I have tried a lot of pizza in my time. I even make my own homemade pizza which is yum. Anthony’s is some of the best I have ever had! Craving is the word to describe this pizza. You will have dreams about this pizza…..
Anthony Bruno founded Anthony’s in 2002. The first one was in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
He has traditional Italian family roots; his father loved the restaurant business, his mother, an amazing cook. In 1982 Bruno and his father opened Anthony’s Runway 84 which I have also been to and love. This is a full-service Italian restaurant that you should also try while in Florida. Getting back to this fabulous pizza….the crust, the sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil and olive oil just about does it!!!!!
If I am really hungry I order the roasted chicken wings with caramelized onions, salads are great and so is the broccoli rabe & sausage. One of their secrets of the pizza is the sauce and the coal fire surely helps a lot!!!!!
