  1. California Highway 1 Discovery Route And Morro Bay - Part Three

    $0.00

Well, guess what – it was time to eat again! All that fresh sea air makes one hungry! So I walked over to the Blue Skye Café where I was able to sit outside and my server Jesse took great care of me. The breakfast was delicious (pictured above) and an added bonus was running into Pat and Don, two locals who come here every morning to enjoy the view, friends and great food. I was lucky enough to sit with them the 2 days I was there and they just proved once again what a delightful and friendly city this truly is. AJ is the manager so be sure to say hello to him as well – he moved here from LA and just loves it.

Most of baby boomers are familiar with the history of Hong Kong, especially with the  July 1, 1997 new ruling principle for the Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. With this agreement, China allowed Hong Kong to remain autonomous, keeping their capitalist system and independent judiciary and rule of law – all separate from Mainland China's influence. Free trade and freedom of speech was to be tolerated though recently we have witness the students in the streets, objecting to the policy of China's approvals of politicians running for office in Hong Kong.

  22. The Queen Mary 2 Journey - Luxury Personified: Part One

    $0.00

REMEMBER WHEN?   LUXURY WAS A GIVEN, AND THE CUNARD SLOGAN WAS “GETTING THERE IS HALF THE FUN”? That was in the Golden Age of transatlantic crossings. When people really going to or from someplace had to resort to sea travel to go long distances.  With the advent of jet planes, carrying more passengers at greater speeds, ocean travel has become almost extinct. But, the QUEEN MARY 2 keeps it alive in all its luxury and splendor on its run from New York (“Brooklyn!”) to Southampton (and some other European destinations).  And I’m telling you, if you have the time, and the money, then treat yourselves to 7 days of luxury, elegance, grand living, and of being suspended in time and place. Getting there really was more than half the fun!!!
