Looking for an incredible place to enjoy luxury accommodations for both you and your pet, the Allison Inn & Spa in Oregon’s Willamette Valley is a great place to stay. The Inn is listed as one of the top pet friendly hotels in the United States.  There is a one-time fee of $50 per pet whether you stay a night, weekend or spend a week enjoying the Spa and Oregon’s wine country.

Pets are welcome in the terrace-level rooms where your dog will be pampered with treats and kibble. The beautiful grounds of the inn provide plenty of room to exercise your pooch.

The hotel has an information paper on pet stays in the FAQ section of their web site. It is worth quoting one informative paragraph that sums up what a great place this is for you and your pet which states:

“When guests make a reservation that includes a pet stay, The Allison has special food and water dishes served from a wooden crate placed in Terrace-level guestrooms upon arrival. Water from the guestroom wet bars is filtered for pet-friendly drinking and a special treat created by the pet-loving chefs in the kitchen will be waiting in the room. In addition, the kitchen staff at JORY, The Allison’s signature restaurant, can prepare a special, healthy meal for each pet so the parents are not the only ones enjoying the Oregon Wine Country cuisine. There is also a personal welcome note from Managing Director Pierre Zreik with guidelines for the dogs as to handling their parents while in residence. All Terrace rooms have patios so, weather permitting, pets can enjoy the fresh air and countryside while relaxing outdoors. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there is always a cozy spot in front of the in-room fireplace.”

The Allison also provides special pet services which include dog walking and sitting while guests partake of the spa treatments in the 15,000 square foot spa that has a fitness studio, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Adding to the coolness of this place, pets can also indulge in a spa treatment! Parents are given a letter with instructions for a pet massage that your furry companion will love. The Spa also carries all-natural pet products from Cain & Able that include paw rub, shampoo and spritz.

The Inn also will advise on trails for you and your canine(s) to hike on. When you want to take advantage of the many other Wine Country activities such as golf, horseback riding or hot air ballooning, you can be assured that your pets will be cared for and comfortable when you are gone.  Dog walking and sitting is provided at $15 per hour.

The length of your stay is the only governor of what you can do staying at The Allison. There are over 200 wineries in the Willamette Valley and also Portland is only 45 minutes away. Or you can just relax at the Inn, enjoy the Spa and snooze in front of your in-room fireplace. Excellent food is provided at the JORY, The Allison’s signature restaurant.
