Meet Susie - Pet Patrol

Pet Patrol

Susie is happy to be the dog of a baby boomer. She is a dog who enjoys being on the go – which is probably one of her favorite words along with “Din,” “biscuit,” and “treat.” Susie is miniature Australian Shepherd and her daddy found her on-line through the Miniature Australian Shepherd Rescue Society (MARS). Susie was born in Georgia and is a real Georgia peach. Her daddy and mommy traveled all the way to north Georgia to bring her back to Kentucky. Since she has come to her new home, Susie has graduated from obedience classes through advanced and received her certificate as a Canine Good Citizen from the AKC. She and her daddy have formed a team to do therapy work with WAGS, a local therapy animal group in Louisville and should start work as soon as they pass the evaluation exam.

Susie loves to travel and visit new and exciting places with her family. Whether it’s a short trip to the dog park or one of the many parks in Kentucky or Indiana, or a trip to Georgia or beyond, Susie is ready to go. Susie is concerned about the availability and quality of pet friendly sites not only for herself, but also for her many animal friends. Also not just for dogs, but for cats, birds and other members of the animal kingdom who share their lives with their human families. She will be assisted not only by her mommy and her daddy, but also by a number of her canine, feline and other friends. Shadow, whose mom is the RV patrol, is a Siberian husky with his own opinions on pet travel and more. Miss Kitty, whose mommy speaks for the Hotel patrol will have much to say from the feline perspective.

Susie also has her own web site at http://www.susiesweetdog.com and has accounts on both Facebook and Twitter.
