Whether you plan on a winter, spring, summer or fall destination, the Inn’s location in the rolling mountains of western Vermont makes a great place to visit and stay. In the winter you will be close to the ski areas of Pico and Killington which are only 15 miles away. Summers in Vermont are quite pleasant as Susie can attest from her stay two years ago at Camp Gone to the Dogs, and of course anywhere in Vermont is amazing in the fall with all the colors of the changing leaves.
The Paw House Inn is located on three acres of farm land with backdrops of rolling mountains – truly a magical country retreat.
A unique feature of this property is their Mario’s Playhouse – a 1200 sq.ft. facility designed to provide a clean, comfortable and temperature controlled environment for your dogs. The use of the Playhouse is included in your room rate. Guests can use the Playhouse day or night whenever they want to venture out without their dogs. This feature is self-service, but during the day from 10 am to 4 pm the Playhouse provides the following services at your request: dog walking, feeding, water, playtime and administration of medications. The Playhouse has eight dog runs 4 feet by 8 feet.
The private rooms for guests are well appointed and each room has a custom made dog bed. Also each room has a private bath room. There are eight rooms with such names as Good Dog!, Bad Dog!, The Chase and Bark Avenue Suite. Wireless internet is provided. A full country breakfast is served each morning. Extra dog beds are provided upon request.
Susie and Beau are ready to pack up and head back to Vermont!
