Meet Mike - Off the Beaten Path Patrol

Pack your bags and get ready to roll, out on Boomer Travel Patrol! Hi and welcome. My name is Mike Miller and I am a proud member of The Boomer Travel Patrol. My travel partner and spouse of 33 years, Carolynn, and I invite you to share our adventures “off the beaten path”. We are looking for hidden treasures in nature, history, art, leisure, fun and good food. Places, museums, roads, people, beautiful, weird, and unusual spots are all ahead. Pushing us is our desire to keep our bodies, spirit, and minds moving, growing, and learning.

We are both retired from the Louisville Public School System. I was an Elementary and Middle School Teacher and Elementary School Principal. Carolynn was an Elementary School Art Teacher and has always been an artist. We have two adult children, Jennie and Claire, who are true blessings. We travel with them whenever our schedules allow. Soon to be coming along for the ride is granddaughter, Grace.
