First, just a brief aside regarding genetics and our family: There are times I think my family puts the “Fun” in Dysfunctional and perhaps in the final analysis, there might be times that I think my Mother (New York Times Best-Selling Author Joanne Fluke) just might be “A few peas short of a casserole”.
It’s all about genetics… There is just no escaping the strange, murky, but amusing far deep end of the gene pool for our entire family. But it is NOT all bad, we thrive there.
This very same gene pool is most assuredly why my Mom (Author Joanne Fluke of the Best-Selling Hannah Swensen Mystery Series) has such a vivid imagination.
What imagination, John? Oh, come on! All the Hannah-Maniacs out there know that she created a whole town – Lake Eden – and everyone in it. And coming from those murky depths of this strange little gene pool is why I thrive in the weirdly altered “reality” of my company - Placed4Success / P4STV – and excel in placing and positioning many different brands and products on Feature Film and Television. After all, what normal person would pick that business, right?
But, do you know what the good part of being a Fluke and swimming up from the far deep end is? We do quite well when things get a little strange. And on tour, things can get more than a little strange. Take for example, the time my Mother killed someone…
