Barcelona – The Capital of the province Catalina. Catalina consists of four provinces, Barcelona, Girona, Lledia and Tarragonia. During the 1960’s Catalina went through what is known as the “Spanish Miracle” which was the economic boom that really put Barcelona on the map. This miracle brought about improved living standards and an even bigger middle class in all of Spain.

La Sagrada Familia is one of Gaudis masterpieces which dominates Barcelona. The cathedral is still a work in progress today. Make sure you arrive to this attraction early because the line gets very long very fast. There are private tours in which you can escape any wait time so you are sure not to waste a moment of you trip. Make sure you can brave tight spaces because when you take the elevator to the top of the cathedral the walls can seem to close in on you.
