I’m always on the lookout for things to take with me when I travel. There seems to be some sort of delay or unexpected incident that I’m not always prepared for like making my mouth fresher and cleaner after I eat something on the plane – usually something that I bring aboard since meal service has taken a nose dive on most flights. But I digress.
Enter Ice Chips Candy. Instead of buying breath mints, I found this great little product that, according to all their claims, is simply fabulous! Its Vegan, beneficial to your teeth, reduces tooth decay, inhibits growth of plaque, is recommended for Diabetics, contains zero net effective carbs and is sweetened with Xylitol. They use Birchwood Xylitol (made in the USA), in order to access the health benefits. That’s way better than any mints I’ve purchased in the airport shops!
They come in tins and a variety of flavors: Peppermint, Ginger, Coffee, Strawberry Daquiri, Pina Colada, Root Beer Float, Berry Mix and many more. They look just like ice chips and therefore each piece varies in size. The bonus is that they also taste great!
The back story is something you will love. This product was developed by two Grannies that have 37 grandchildren between them, but that’s not all! They went on Shark Tank and created quite a battle between the sharks. In the end, they went with Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran. There’s a clip of the segment on their website. I tried several flavors and shared some with my friends – it’s a thumbs up from all. I love that it tastes great, has health benefits and shows that Baby Boomers still have what it takes.
