Meet Penny - Globetrotter Patrol
I am Penny and I live in rural Australia on a cattle property. I am a farmer, photographer, teacher, mother of 4 young adults and also a member of the new generation of traveller - "The Blonde/Grey Nomad" - with a little help from my hairdresser!
My independent, solo travel began about 10 years ago; my children had left home for university and my husband did not want to travel. I soon realized all my friends had no interest in photography and especially getting into the backstreets and villages of Asia - if I wanted to travel, it was up to me to do something about it.
I enjoy traveling to Asian countries both on photography tours and by myself, however, I now write about my experiences hoping to show other women that with planning and confidence, they too can visit worldly destinations on their own.
