Wow, I love this chef, Jose Garces! He wants all of us to celebrate culture and cuisine from Mexico, he is the Master of Latin cuisine, has been seen as The Iron Chef America on Food Network and guess who was his influence leading to all of this success? Yes, just like me, his grandmother!
He was raised in Chicago and now lives on a 40 acre farm in Bucks County, Pa. He grows a variety of things for his restaurants, which he has quite a few of around the country. In Scottsdale you can go to Garces Trading Company for sips of coffee and a pastry, or The Village Whiskey where he has 100 varieties of whiskeys etc, with appetizers or come to this modern Mexican restaurant and select from 100 tequilas and enjoy the rich selections of unusual dishes being served.
This exciting restaurant is located in Old Town, in the Saguaro Hotel. There are bright bold colors as accents in the restaurant including the fresh flowers on each table. When you walk in, you know you are going to have fun here.
