Meet Marian - Art & Culture Patrol
Marian Goldberg is a travel writer and marketer specializing in cultural tourism and travel tips. She has traveled to 54 countries, but as the former public relations manager for the Japan National Tourism Organization for eleven years and the US Representative for Kyoto City Tourism for two years, she especially knows a geisha from a maiko (geisha in training). She has also been a researcher and producer for The Travel Channel, a Managing Editor of Content for the travel information resource Personal Travel Technologies, a Marketing Supervisor for Trans World Airlines, and an instructor of Travel & Tourism at various community colleges and New York University. She is currently the Asia Correspondent for Jax Fax Travel Marketing Magazine, and a Luxury Travel Consultant affiliated with Farewell Travels LLC. She holds a BA in History and Art History & Criticism and a MS in Travel Marketing Management.
