Audrey’s passion is exploring new places, along with biking, birding, and writing about her experiences. Her favorite trips include cycling across Iowa, meeting bears in Yosemite, trekking in Nepal, and spotting endangered birds in Hawaiian rainforests.
She’s been a cowgirl, a geologist, and a technical editor. Now retired from a career in environmental consulting, she’s finding plenty of new adventures as a freelance journalist.
