Traveling and Eating Gluten Free

$0.00

Quick Overview

A gluten free diet is a very important, crucial part of our time and people's lives. It is so important for travelers to know where they can eat as they travel on this diet. I am not an expert on this and you should always ask as many questions as you need to for your dining experience. There can be cross contamination with the ingredients and other concerns. Many of the restaurants below are in airport terminals. A great tip is to bring your own items such as buns, muffins, chips, and treats for the airport and airplane. I do that myself, being on a regular diet.

If I had to do my picks here, these are my favorites:

McDonald's: breakfast sausage and scrambled egg

Five Guys Burgers: their yummy hamburger without the bun or the kosher hot dog without the bun

Panera Bread: fruit and yogurt with no granola, low fat vegetarian black bean soup with no bread, Mediterranean chicken salad

Chipotle: I love this restaurant. The integrity of their ingredients are fabulous.

Guacamole with no chips, black beans and steak and any toppings that are gluten free.

Long John Silvers::medley vegetables, grilled salmon, coleslaw and shrimp scampi

B J's Restaurant and Brewhouse: classic bake potato, bbq chicken chopped salad with no onion strings, gluten free thin crusted pizza with favorite gluten free toppings

Morton's, The Steakhouse: anything here is so delicious; they have gluten free lunch and dinner menus.

Pollo Tropical is outside the U.S. too! It is a Miami based restaurant showcasing a Caribbean style menu: grilled chicken or slow roasted pork, sides of red beans and corn

A place everyone seems to love is Starbucks and yes they do offer gluten free. So check it all carefully and enjoy your trips!! Excited to hear from you.....Blondee
